Have you ever wondered about the island of Fiji or the Republic of Bulgaria, or any other far-off destination and its culture? Learning about other places and people-- what makes us the same and what makes us different--that's the goal of an international studies project that has the students of Eastern Heights Middle School so engaged. The students selected a place from somewhere on the globe that they wanted to study and created projects to show of what they learned. The project will culminate at a spectacular International Festival at Eastern Heights Middle School on May 10, 2023, with live music, traditional foods of other countries and a walking tour of the finished work of the students. Community partners will be there, as well, with information for parents and many resources, including free clothing.
